About Woodbury Partners
Woodbury Partners provides investment banking, consulting and advisory services to start-up, small and midsize privately held  companies in the health care, biotechnology and high technology fields. Woodbury Partners was founded in 1984 by Roger Plante, our founding partner, after Roger sold his medical supplies distribution business to a regional firm. That firm became Roger's first client and for several years the foundation for Woodbury Partners.

Throughout the nineties, the company provided advisory services on the buy side to several companies that implemented aggressive business growth strategies based on acquisition of companies in the same or similar lines of business. Roger found that by focusing initially on the needs of the buyer he was able to successfully bring buyer and seller together by ensuring that expectations were managed properly and corporate requirements we fully understood by potential sellers up front.

Joe Isola joined Woodbury Partners in 1999 in order to focus his many years of experience in general business management at all levels, from start-up to public companies, on business strategy and corporate development. Joe leads Woodbury Partners' corporate strategy practice and uses his extensive network in the venture capital community to assist clients looking to raise equity or debt.

Neil Herring brought his management consulting practice to Woodbury Partners in 2000. In addition to working mergers and acquisitions, Neil provides a number of clients with operations based management consulting services in corporate finance, IT and process improvement. With more than twenty years in finance and corporate development, Neil's M&A background and broad knowledge base are key assets to his clients.

Ray Vermette stepped up to Partner in  the fall of 2002 after serving several years as one of our Affiliates. Raybrings his many years of operations experience to his clients and specializes in offering interim management services to companies in transition.

Woodbury Partners serves clients throughout the country and around the world. Recent engagements have been as close to home as Boston and as far afield as Delhi and Peru. We're essentially a "virtual" company as we all work out of our homes in New England and South Carolina.
