Orlando based start-up clinical lab opens "on-line".
The first venture capital backed start-up clinical lab in the country for a number of years initiated operations in February of 2002 after 6 months of build-out. Woodbury Partners provided two very experienced IT consultants, developed the company's IT strategy, assisted with contract negotiations and implementation. .
The IT strategy incorporates two key components;
a) A PC based lab information system (L.IS) and billing system developed on the D3 platform.
b) A Web based front and back-end, fully integrated with the LIS, supporting order-entry, result reporting and a pateint portal.
